Central Railroad of New Jersey Road Number CNJ 23515
This 40' standard box car with single sliding door is painted dark brown with black ends and white logo and lettering. It was one of 50 Pullman-Standard box cars built in October 1957 for the Central Railroad Company of New Jersey. This car runs on Bettendorf trucks. Some of the cars from this series received damage-free (DF) load-restraining equipment. Most of the cars survived to see the Conrail merger in 1976 and some years beyond.
