This 50' standard box car with single door is painted red with black ends and runs on black roller bearing trucks. Built in April of 1964 in Pullman-Standard's Michigan City plant, the 50 cars of this series proudly boasted their Hydroframe-60 system, equipped with Evans DF-2 loaders and nailable steel floors. 1422 displays the Deramus paint scheme used from 1956 through 1965.
