This box car red 40' double-sheathed wood reefer with yellow sides has black lettering with red drop shadows and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Capable of carrying 1,920 cu. ft. of freight, this 75,000 lb. capacity ventilated refrigerator car was equipped with Liquidometer temperature indicators and built for the New York Despatch in September of 1937 by the Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company.
