049-00-530 40' double sheathed wood reefer Canadian Pacific 5609 (N Scale)

This 40' double sheathed wood reefer with vertical brake wheel has maroon sides and black roof and ends and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. 5609 displays "Canadian Pacific" letters in Railroad Roman stenciled in Dulux Imitation Gold. It has Dulux Imitation Gold lettering and black ladders and grabs. Serviced at Canadian Pacific's Angus Shops in March 1955, #5609 was one of a series of 100 express refrigerator cars built by Canadian Car & Foundry in June of 1922. Fresh CPR passenger colors were applied, maroon paint with Dulux Imitation Gold stenciling.
