This 40' steel ice reefer with Preco fan is painted light blue with black roof and ends. It displays the red, white &blue 'Beef Packers' shield logo and black lettering. It was built by General American Transportation Corp. in May of 1950 for the Union Refrigerator Transit Co. and runs on black Barber® roller bearing trucks. When serviced in July 1966, it received this American Beef Packers paint scheme and was leased to the company. Class RSM refrigerator cars are equipped with bunkers for chunk ice and meat rails.
