Seaboard Air Line Road Number SAL 073150
This 39' single dome tank car is painted black with white lettering. It was built in October 1966 and runs on Bettendorf trucks. The Seaboard owned a small number of tank cars used for transporting fuel oil for company use. They ran in dedicated service and were considered maintenance-of-way equipment. The Seaboard Air Line Railroad styled itself "The Route of Courteous Service," and was an American railroad from April 14, 1900, until July 1, 1967, when it merged with the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad to form the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad.
