These 39' single dome tank cars are painted black with white logos and lettering. They were built by Pennsylvania Tank Car Co. in May 1925 and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Texaco (The Texas Company) began as the Texas Fuel Company, founded in 1901 in Beaumont, TX, upon discovery of oil at Spindletop, a salt dome oil field near Beaumont. Texaco has been operating in the United States for more than 100 years.
