This 40' standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is car #17 of a 44-car series representing each of the presidents of the United States. It bears the portrait of our 37th president, Richard Nixon. The car comes with a commemorative pin replicated from that era. Reconciliation was the goal during Nixon’s Presidency. He succeeded in ending American fighting in Viet Nam and improving relations with the U.S.S.R. and China.
