This grey three bay ACF Center Flow® covered hopper with elongated hatches is painted with black "Glasshopper II" lettering and multicolored bands and runs on black Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. The "Glasshopper II" was a covered hopper car produced in a venture involving ACF Industries, Southern Pacific, and Cargill to build a car body made of filament-wound fiberglass-reinforced polyester. The two cars built had excellent corrosion resistance properties. One car went through a derailment with less damage than a steel car would have sustained, however, cost discouraged its future use.
