Penn Central Road Number PC 221005
This 60' excess height box car with double plug doors and rivet sides is painted Penn Central green with white logo and lettering and black lettering on white "Excess Height" message. It was built in July 1973 by Greenville Steel Car and runs on Barber® Roller Bearing trucks. It is one of a small series of 20 excess height box cars that wore the large "PV" logo through the 1980s, well past the merger with Conrail in 1976.
