TCS CN-GP Decoder for N Scale Split light board locos Part #1286
TCS has filled the void with this tiny full featured decoder. It replaces the 2 light boards on older Atlas and Life Like locomotives. You no longer have to modify the light boards and hard wire in a decoder. Installation is straight forward using accepted motor isolation practices. No frame modification is needs to do the install and minor soldering is needed.

The CN-GP fits in all those Atlas GP models with clearance for the light tubes and frame so no modification is needed at all to them. It has four functions. The installations for the CN-GP require the same main steps as the CN, for more detailed information check out the installation guide.
The CN-GP will also convert the older Walthers (Proto) GP20, GP18 locos. These are a great series of locos put out by Life-Like.
Now we can get those great older locos out onto the DCC layout with full DCC control.
